Just got the phone call this morning and my date is September 20. It must be good luck because it was my grandfather's birthday.

The surgeon co-ordinator called yesterday and said I could be 4-10 weeks before getting in for my surgery. I can live with that I guess (hahah I have no choice). Very excited to get on with this journey in my life.

I the bright side of waiting is I now know I will be here for my son's first day of kindergarten.

Just found out that the September 13 date is taken by someone else.

I called the centre last week to check to see where I am on the list. Two people are ahead of me. I know there is a surgery already listed for August 9. I believe she said they would be taking in 16th off. So if the other two people take the 23rd and the 30th, September 6 is a holiday so I could be in as soon as September 13. WOW, that would be great. So excited but scared all at the same time.
