well, everything is moving i have all my other appts scheduled for next week which includes the psych and nutrition also i have completed and survived the endoscopy.  my only other problem is losing the weight so i can have my surgery laproscopically instead of an open incision  i'm really working. i've stopped eating my favorite things that contains sugar that should help alot since that was my major weakness. anyway until next time i'll cont. to smile and i have an excellent support system including my best friend al he's very encouraging and he's there when i need him to be .

i had my endo today,  i was surprised to see it was my wls  surgeon who did the procedure. he showed me i had some polyps along the lining of my esophagus and stomach and he removed them. i stayed for a couple of hours afterwards then i was released. dr nowzaradan told me i should be getting my surgery date once i see the psych and nutritionist. i'm excited becuz i' m close to the end of my  very long journeyi will continue to update my blog with my progress.

it seems like everything is on track regarding my wls. i've been scheduled for a endo on 1-11-08 and then i will be scheduled to see the nutrionist. i also have a sleep study again on next monday.  after all of this then i will schedule my psych appt.  i've already purchased a case of slim-fast so i can start my wt loss back up again.  i'll really be happy when all of this is over  with, i just really hope its all worth it. according to my extensive research i think it will be. i just have to remember the surgery is a tool that i have to work with and i'm conditioning myself now so it won't be that hard later. until next  time

i haven't posted in a while. i've been going through a lot helping my mom deal with her cancer treatments,but now its time to focus on me again. i had my sleep study done they said i have sleep apnea but i don't think i do and neither do they because they are having it done again. anyway i still have my endo,psych and nutrionist to see and then hopefully i'm done and can get scheduled for surgery by at least feb. i'm really ready to go through it and get over with before i start to gain weight again i've been really stressed out lately i'm just trying to maintain it all

i had my mammogram and ultrasound done the other day. boy was it painful but everything turned out fine even though the lump is still there. i can go forward with other tests for wls. still need an endo which i'm going to schedule for next week and i also need to have a psych exam and also see a nutritionist.  i will continue to have annual mammograms and i already have next years scheduled already . that's it for now

haven't posted in a while so far i've got all my tests done still need to have an endo. i have postponed future tests until i have my mammogram. i just recently discovered a painful lump in my breast and i need to find out if its cancerous before i proceed any futher with wls . i'm having my mammogram on the 9/25. i really hope everything turns out okay esp. since my mom was dignosed with it 3 mos. ago.

already has a previous appt with the gastroenterologist  she said everything felt okay with my stomach she didn't feel any hernias in my stomach . which i have been worrying about from my last surgery. she told me just continue with my plans for wls and she hopes everything goes well for me. good new is i lost 5 lbs from a wk ago. i guess staying off of carbs and sugar really do help

i had my first visit with dr. nowzaradan. seemed really nice told me i had to lose weight, which i already expected. i was approx. 5 hours . he did an ultrasound and ekg. he wants to go over my med recd from pcp and i'll return in 2 wks.
