Well almost out 11 months and I have hit under 300, weighed this morning at 297, which for some was their starting weight. I know I still have a long way to go, but I am only looking forward not behind. Never again do I want to be 462 pounds!

Well its been a little over seven months since my surgery and I have lost 108. With the supervised diet I have lost a total of 131. I have come such a long way, but I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel yet. I know I can do this I just have to be willing to fight for it, and to be honest some days its really hard to find that courage.

So excited to report that I am down 88 pounds 19 weeks. Can't say its been an easy road but when I win this battle it will be all the sweeter! :)

Can't believe it has been so long since I have updated this thing...I have had my surgery and have had a rough couple of months. Just started feeling like a human about the 1st of January. I have lost a total of 60 pounds in 10 weeks and am very happy with that however I have noticed that I am slipping back into my old ways. Food is truly and addiction for me so I am trying to get back on track and with my family's help I know its possible.

Not sure if anyone even reads this thing, but I am soooo excited it doesnt matter lol. My pre op date is set for October 18th, only 36 days away!! Hopefully my surgery will be soon after that and I get continue on this great journey. Drop me a line sometime! :)

Only took Cigna two weeks to approve me!! After all the bad stuff I had heard I thought I was in for a fight thank goodness that wasn't the case at all. Now I just have to wait for a pre op date probably not until November then surgery but hey the hard part is over so I can be patient now!!

Well another step down on this journey. Today was my last supervised diet visit with my PCP and I have my pysch appt on July 31st then everything will be off to the insurance gods after that. I hope everything goes smoothly because I would hate to have to get medievel on someone lol

Well not much going on here, just had my consult with the surgeon on June 7th and that went great, found out it I may have surgery sometime in October if my insurance plays nice. I had my 5th supervised diet appt last week and lost another 2 pounds so that makes a total of 25 so I will take it every little bit helps. I learned a bit more at the consult but having this site has helped me research a lot already and the Doctor and nurses were very happy that I have a bunch of support. I hope all my friends are doing ok and keep in touch. :)

Well I am in my 4th month of my supervised diet and things are  going ok. I have lost 10 pounds so far which isn't much but I will take it!! I have my consult with Dr. Schirmer on June 7th and boy oh boy am I excited! Hopefully after that all I will have to do is finish my diet and do a pysch test then send everything to insurance :)
I have to say having OH around and the people here are very helpful,I feel like I am taking this journey with friends. Such great support and wisdom on here, don't know what I would do without it. I will keep everyone posted and wish me luck!
