Hi All! Just wondering what types of exercises worked for you during weight loss. I’m looking to lose like 15ish more lbs but I’m stuck on ideas of exercise. Should it all be cardio? Should I include weights? and for how long a day should I be exer

Hi all!

My question is, what do you all do about cravings you have? I’m a year and 3 months out, and I’ve reached my goal weight of 150, but now my new goal is 135. To lose those extra 15lbs has been a toughie, as I noticed I crave snacks

My goal is 140-150, I'm wondering if I keep continuing what I'm doing, will I be able to lose thos

Hello! Has anyone else lost their weight after surgery in this annoying pattern? One week I’m down 3 lbs, next I’m up 2, then I’m consistent, then I’m down. It’s sort of frustrating! And I know the further out we are, the less consistent the

5 months out, I’ve lost 64 lbs!! I’m thrilled with my progress and have been sticking to my plan, but now I’m only losing about one pound a week. I’ve been consistent with 2 or so a week before, and haven’t changed anything about my diet or e

And I’m at the same weight. I cannot move from 196!! I am so frustrated. Nothing has changed with my diet, I’m even trying to stay on the low side of calorie intake. I’ve read about stalls on here, but I’m wondering if anyone has advice? Do I j

I officially hit 198lbs! Surgery Weight was 247, that makes almost 50lbs down!! Also, people are noticing more and more that I’ve lost weight, they mention it mostly in my face. It makes me feel so great! Now, another 50lbs to go until goal.

I am 2 months and 9 days out from surgery & have gone from 247 lbs to 208 ish (39lbs lost). I feel like I’m doing pretty well, and so do my docs. My goal is to be at 150, which I think is pretty reasonable. However my doc thinks it’s far fetched an

Hi all,

So I’m 9 days out from my procedure & it’s been pretty easy for me to drink my fluids...like alarmingly easy. I have a little bit of burpy feeling of a drink too much of a mouthful, but absolutely no side affects otherwise. I didnâ€

Okay guys, I was sleeved Oct 19th & am 2 days post op. I feel okay, I’m getting my protein in and fluids, I have pretty bad pain on my one incision (assuming it’s the one they took my stomach from). But I gotta ask, did anyone else think this early

So I met with my surgeon today with the expectation of being told he wouldn't want to do the vsg on me bc of my recent diagnosis with eosinophillic esophagitis. Turns out, he has no problem performing the sleeve on me bc evidently EOE doesn't have much

Hi guys. I'm a little stressed/worried to say the least. I got back home from my upper endoscopy a few hours ago & the doc that performed it gave me some bad news. He said he thinks I have EOE & was asking me if I ever had trouble swallowing, getting f

I, like many of you, was told to lose weight before I would be approved for VSG (20lbs to be exact). I was also told by folks who had the surgery that they didn't lose the weight the doctor told them to & were still approved for surgery. People say tha

I have a feeling I'm going to get a mixed reaction to this question but here it goes. What is the difference in simply going on a 600-800 cal/day high protein diet and losing weight & getting VSG surgery to lose weight? I understand that with VSG your

So my hospital that is doing my surgery requires me to go through 6 months of nutrition programs. The program says that the pre op diet is soft foods like cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs etc. & obviously a protein shake or something similar. I'm wondering

I'm brand new to OH and have VSG planned for the fall, I'm 5'5 & weigh 254lbs. I'm so excited for surgery, yet very scared. Any advice to help me calm my nerves?
