MC Hammer Pants lol

Feb 02, 2012

The results are getting better and better every day. My work pants look like parachute pants. My hubby wants me to buy some that fit better but I'm gonna wait a little while longer. I don't want to waste too much money on clothes.

Since the doc gave me clearance, I resumed my early morning workouts with my trainer. (The trainers are free where I work. So, there really isn't an excuse lol) I am in loooove with boxing. It's so much fun! He has me doing all kinds of things. I didn't know I would like doing basketball drills but, I like it. The variety makes me look forward to going. I'm only going 3 days a week at this point.

Trying to incorporate "new food" like chicken and fish in my meals has been a bit challenging. I've been relying on soups and stews because they are easier to swallow. Costco has some great soups like Lobster Bisque, Atlantic Crab Corn Chowder, and Tortilla Chicken Soup that I've discovered are easy to digest. I'm glad I'm a soup lover.

One thing that is kind of getting to me...and I know it's kind of stupid...is that I feel bad when I can't finish a meal or order something at a restaurant and eat a very small portion....and then when I'm done eating, the smell of the food gets on my nerves. It's so weird.

I know feeling bad comes from my Catholic school training to finish everything on my plate and not waste food but why does the smell of it bother me so?

I am packing up a lot of food to bring home.  A lot of the times it gets thrown out. I feel bad wasting the food. I'd like to order from the senior menu or the kids menu but they won't let me sometimes or the selection isn't that great.

The best thing is cooking at home but I do a lot of lunch meetings and dinner meetings for work. I also like to hang out with my friends and go to restaurants. I guess I will have to find a way to work around this...any suggestions??
