I Did It!

After a little over 2 years I have done it...I have reached my goal weight that I had set before wls. I am now 199lbs! It's been the hardest thing I have ever done, but I would not change it for anything and I'd do it all again. My life has changed so much in the 2 years since my surgery. I have grown as a person, I am able to do so much more now, I have gained confidence in my personal life as well as professional life. I'm now an RN and I have to say the way I feel about myself now has helped me achieve this goal as well as many more. If you are reading this and are thinking about surgery or if you have had surgery already, don't lose heart...it takes alot of work and devotion, but you too can do it. Thank you everyone for your support. My goals now are to lose about 20 more lbs and have my loose skin removed...I will keep y'all posted!

Slowly but surely...down to 226 now and losing quick...have lost 6lbs this past week. Have started working out and got another fill in the band, so I finally have restriction and eating the right portions again. School going great! Have 5 months left! YAY

Here I am, at the end of this year and I feel amazing! I officially started my journey on January 17th of this year when I filled out the application for surgery. Wow how my life has changed. I am now 88lbs smaller than I was on that day, and I hope to be even more when the year anniversary is here. My size 44 pants are falling off of me, some 2X shirts are baggy on me...I just cannot believe it! So I walked by a mirror the other day and out of the corner of my eye I saw me...not 355lb me...I say 267lb me. When I look in the mirror I don't see much of a difference, but for a brief moment I did, then I turned and looked and that "actual" smaller image of me was gone. The same thing happened to me with a picture, my shoulders weren't HUGE...lol...they were beautiful shoulders! HAHA
I will keep everyone up to date...thank you all for your support! ;)

Well it has been several months since I last blogged...I took my final today for the first semester of RN school! WOOHOO...I am pumped! I also have good news concerning my weight...I have lost a total of 79lbs now...I am down from 355 to 276 now...from a size 52 pants to 44! Things are just great! Everyday is like a new life...I can make what I want of it...if I mess it up today...just start all over tomorrow...confidence is something I thought I had, but I am learning that I had a false confidence...I'm lovin it! Well for now........ ;)

Hey all, for some reason this just messed up so I'm writing it again! LOL...so I am pumped that I have lost 56lbs now! WOOHOO and I am officially 299lbs! WOOHOO AGAIN!!!! I am doing great and feeling great! I haven't had any complications and still have only had one fill! I started RN school last week and it is going great, work is keeping me SUPER busy too! Vacation was AWESOME and it was so much more than what it would have been pre-op! Gonna post some new pics so y'all can see my SEXY BODY! LOL, jk...

Hey, well just thought I would keep everyone updated! I have now lost a total of 49.5lbs...ALMOST 50lbs!!! I am so excited and looking forward to the future! I go to Florida this Thursday and I am looking at the beach in a whole new light even with this amount of weight off! Bought some new jeans size 46 and I am starting to wear size 2x in shirts...this is a very exciting time in my life...I start nursing school in a few weeks and I am feeling better than I have in a LONG time! ;) ...
