Almost Time for My First Appointment!

I am so excited that tomorrow will be my first appointment! I am hoping that I will actually have a reality check and know that this is really happening! LOL...it all seems like a dream, a dream that I have had for years! I will set my date for surgery tomorrow, and then count the days! Wish me luck! :)

Food Diary

So I started my food diary today...well it's like 1 something in the morning so I guess it was yesterday...anyways, I actually was suprised that I didn't eat that much today...sure the 3 cookies I had tonight were'nt the best for me, but it wasn't too bad! I still don't like writing stuff down and I forget, but I only have to do this for a week and hopefully it will help the dietition have a better understanding of the best way for me to lose weight...so I am pumped...it's only 9 days till my appointment!

Ok...so this is my first post on this profile...I did have another profile but not really sure what happened to it...LOL, it was outdated anyways!
So things are good and my quest for weight loss is still in limbo...but there is hope...never fear! I am planning to pay for my Lap-Band out of pocket...I have waited and waited for the insurance to change or this or that...nothing happened so I took matters into my own hands! I decided I make enough money to pay for the surgery so I marched my butt into the livingroom one night and told my parents, "I made a decision and I'm going to do it, I am having surgery and thats it...period!" They said ok and I said WOW! LOL...wasn't expecting that! I have been determined to have the surgery for years, but I have tried to diet just as I have in the past and I have tried and failed at changing my lifestyle...I realize this isn't a cure, it is just a tool, the tool that I've been needing and searching for!
Anyways...I have an appointment scheduled for February 29th 2008 with the dietitian and the psych...hope all goes well and I will set a date for what some say will be a new b-day! YAY! Pray y'all!
