I only met with Dr. Katz once for a consultation appointment and found him very nice and informative. He went over all the risks of surgery and drew pictures to help me understand the surgery. My insurance required me to wait a year for the surgery, so I never had any contact with him again until the day of surgery. His staff is great! Everyone there was friendly, supportive and helpful. I felt I knew them all quite well after attending appointments for a year. rnThe day of the surgery Dr. Katz came in to talk to me and was very supportive and warm. He coutinued to be very helpful, giving me his pager number for any questions or problems I might have after I got home. His bedside manner and surgical competence where both great and I would recommend him to any future patients.

I've only met with Dr. Katz twice, an informational seminar and then a consultation. He has a calm and friendly demeanor and is glad to answer any questions. Open and honest about the surgery, risks and life changes. I met with most of his staff as well, who are equally friendly and supportive. Their case manager has been following my progress with my PCP and other physicians over the past 6 months. I plan to continue to stay with Dr. Katz for my surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Kerry Kole, was \"wow, he is a tall guy!\" He also is very nice and has a very warm spirit and personality. He is very patient and answered a lot of questions in the seminar, as well as one on one. I'm very glad that I chose him so far. I got a good first impression and they usually don't lie. I was also able to meet a patient who was 1 week post-op, and she said that Dr. Kole was an awesome surgeon and she had great things to say about him.

Dr Marshall was amazing... Very informative and Funny... Made me feel very comfortable and explained the surgery in detail... answered all questions and concerns I had about the procedure .. His partner Dr Pesta was the one who did the orientation.. He was very friendly and imformative... I am very happy that there will be 2 board certified surgeons in the room during my surgery... They both also give you their pager numbers in case there are any complications...

DR Marshallrn I was so nervous meeting him Yesterday (may 23/07) . I think I am making the right choice and he is the Dr to do it. I have this wonderful feeling it was ment to be. I had my surgery Sept 14 th. His bedisde manor and just his way of talkign to you makes you feel like a person and not a number. I would reccomend anyone who is thinking of having wls to just go and talk to him. He will but a whole new light on it, this is his calling. 10/19/07rnrnNow I am on my 8th journey believe it or not. 7 other times I have been denied due to my Cirrohsis but not Dr. Hawasli. He is terrific. I liked him from the moment I met him. He says he will do the Gastric Sleeve with a possible 2nd part of the Rouen Y so I might get at least 70% of weight loss. I think that the follow up part of this program will be less than other doctors, but in the end, it's up to me to make the changes in my lifestyle.rnrn

I love this guy, I wish he could do anything I ever need done surgically. He is such a caring man. The office staff is top notch and up on everything. He really cares about his patients, you are just not another patient to him.
