I was greatly satisfied with the whole process. I love the fact that you actually get to meet with the doctor. I also enjoyed the fact that there was not group pre op visits. I have friends that used other doctors we will not mention the name, but when she was preping for her surgery she had to go to group classes. With Dr Cribbens I got to meet one on one with weight loss assistance Crystal. She is very informative and if there is something you need to know and she feels that the DR needs to discuss it with you, she will go and flag him down and have him come talk to you. I didnt feel like a production line, I felt like a patient. I was back to work in 6 days after surgery, and going strong. I had the gastric sleeve and was worried about not losing weight fast enough, after my visits with Dr Cribbins he made me feel at ease and encourage me to do the right thing. I am steady losing and more active now than I have been since I was 18. Thank you Doctor, you have made me a better person.

I would highly recommend Dr. Cribbins in Plano, TX. He was very compassionate and came to check on me every morning after I had the RNY surgery. He made me feel very comfortable during the entire process.

I would also recommend his partner Dr. Stephen Hamn. Dr. Hamn performed my gallbladder removal when Dr. Cribbins was unavailable.

They are both extremely knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate physicians. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The staff @ Hamn & Cribbins is awesome.

I would give both doctors a 10 for explaining the procedures and bedside manners.

I would recommend them both to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

The best surgeon ever! My first and subsequent impression of Dr. Cribbins is that he is first and foremost professional. This is not "a business" to him. He is a dedicated caring professional that truly believes in what he is accomplishing.

I am proof positive that a person can achieve their goals and all they need is a doctor that care and help you achieve them

Prior to choosing Dr. Cribbins, I attended several "cattle call" obesity seminars. I was so turned off by the process that I didn't decide to do it until meeting Dr. Cribbins. Since my surgery last year, I have recommended him to 2 co-workers. One of them has her surgery scheduled for next month! She feels the same way I do, fully informed and fully cared for.

While I don't give him ALL the credit of my success...(I had to work my "a" off to get where I am now" but I certainly give him the credit for leading me to the path.

I attended a weight loss surgery seminar hosted by Dr. Cribbins on January 8, 2009. He started about 45 minutes late, but he was handsome enough to overlook that issue and I had the time available. His office staff was polite, efficient, and appeared to be very competent. The speech he gave covered all the available types of surgery and he was very thorough. So far, I like him immensely and look forward to more interaction with him leading up to, and after, my surgery.

I really appreciate the follow up and attention to detail Dr. Cribbins bariatric coordinator, Sheryl, has shown. I called with a question about my insurance earlier in the week and she followed up the same day. Today she called just to give me a progress report on the status of the insurance.

I was finally approved for surgery on 1/18/10. On March 4 I had the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy performed by Dr Cribbins. I couldn't have had a better experience. I highly recommend his as a surgeon and feel like he provided me with great care.

Dr. Cribbins staff helped me get approved when I had been turned down elsewhere. Having staff members that have had the procedrue is a plus. Surgery was a \"non-event\". Wish I could say the weight loss was a non-event as well but I can't. You must work at -- the band is just a tool. A very helpful tool! Was up three times the first night and came home the next day. No serious pain at all. rnSupport group is wonderful and the fact that Dr. Cribbins or Dr. Hamm attends most of them is a major plus. Hospital does an excellent job in running the Support group -- subjects are varried and interesting. It helps me stay focused.rnI am 14 months post operation and down over 100 pounds. Took me longet to reach 100 than I had hopped but I got there. Exercise is critica to your success -- find a gym close to where you live and get started now. rnI am still a large person so I still have a ways to go but the question I would ask is \"Would you do it again?\" The answer: Absolutelyrnrn

Dr. Cribbins was great! His bariatric coordinator was wonderful also. I felt so at ease with him. He has a great bedside manner. He never seems rushed and genuinely cares about you. The program and nutritionist at Presby Plano are great. He is the surgeon to go with!!!

I've only seen Dr. Cribbons twice. The first meeting was a seminar. I was very impressed and felt confident. The second was my initial office visit and VGS was set up for Oct. 25. The meeting was very short, but I could not think of more questions to ask. I'll write more as I know more.rnrn6-12-2008rnWell, I am finally updating my surgeon's report. Dr. Cribbins is wonderful. I had my VSG on Oct. 25, 2007 and all has gone very well. He did an excellent job and I have had no complications. The vast majority of his patients are lap banders, but I believe that will change as the insurance companies come on board with the VSG. He is very warm and friendly and always sets me at ease. He does not volunteer tons of information, but he does answer any and all questions so be prepared to ask. I am especially impressed with his twice monthly support group which he attends (unless he is on call and has been called). His poor family must never see him. I have talked to many of his patients, many nurses, and several other doctors and everyone has had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Cribbins. I highly recommend him.
