Dr. Bellanger is excellent. Answers any and all questions. Is as honesst and sincere as anyone I have ever met.

His office staff is wonderful and extremely helpful in providing everthing you need for the Laproscopic Bypass sugery.

Well, I haven't had a consult yet. I've got to have a physical with my PCP first. However, his office staff is awesome! They're on top of everything and it doesn't seem like I'll have a long wait if everything goes right.

Dr.H and his staff are wonderful!! Not to mention he is easy on the eyes!! He is very good at explaining everything to you and does not make you feel like anything you ask is trivial. I would totally trust him again if I had to. He is a very busy doctor, but makes sure to stop by to see you and makes sure his staff is aware of all of your needs.

I was very impressed that DR. Hargroder took the time to meet with me before surgery and answer any questions I had. I was very pleased with all of the staff and there eagerness to help me in anyway they could. I do wish that I would have seen DR Hargroder more after I had my surgery. I was real impressed and very happy with my decision to choose the facility and the DR.

He was much younger than I expected. He was very informative. The office staff isn't exactly the most helpful people but there are other sources out there..for instance this website. I cant really say there is anything I didn't like about him. He is very strict. They emphasize it alot but they dont follow through with it and getting an answer out of his office about which pills you can take and certain foods...dont expect anyone to help you. The have a website where you take these test and stuff for the aftercare. I could never finish because my last module wouldn't ever appear on the page so I just gave up on it. I pretty much had read everything possible to prepare myself for the surgery and he just reiterated that. Overall rating would be excellent. Both his bedside and surgical competence are a 10

Dr. Hargroder is an excellent doctor and he never made me feel like a patient, I actually felt like family.

my first impression of dr. blake is hes young but very proffesional, he was very honest very knowelegable. his staff is so very friendly, every one on his staff has had some type of weight surgery. they all take their time with you, your not in and out in no time, to me that means alot that they take their time, very thro, very caring his staff is new weight they are out of texas and now setting up in baton rouge. their office and hosiptal is set up for the obese, large chairs, large couches and etc. they have a great aftercare program its a 2 year program. every one of my questions were answered and then some. new weigh even fights your appeals, everything. i feel really great about all of this i guess mainly because of the staff, the doctor and the atmosphere there. thanks dr. blake and new weigh.

I was very impressed with his honesty on how many procedures he had done and how many patients he had lost. I first met him in March 2002 and then again in December as my insurance changed and covers this type of surgery. His office staff was great and now he is associated with Neweigh which is wonderful. His being so young sort or scared me. I was having doubts about him being my surgeon because he had not done as many of these as the doctors in New Orleans. I have found out that the reason was that the hospital he was doing it at did not have the equipment for severly overweight people Cat scan etc. which did in fact have something to do with the 2 deaths. He quit surgery there and was in the process of working with them to upgrade the equipment to handle the obese when Vista hospital and NeWeigh came into play. Vista will have state of the art equipment and will be a baratric hospital only. I met with the nutrienst and she went over the aftercare program Dr. Bellanger has implemented. I am very confident now in his abilities. I think for me surgical competence is better for me than bedside manner but ofcourse I have the type of personality I can handle any types. I love people and have been in banking and have come across all types so if he just does his job to the best of his ability we will get along great. I went to see my family doctor and he recommended him highly.

My surgeon was very good. He was knowlegable and he put me at ease. I was very comfortable with him. The nursing staff and doctors' office staff were both very kind and helpful.
I did have problems getting a response regarding a question a few weeks before surgery but on follow-up the staff was apologetic and extremely helpful.
My surgery was through the Compass program which has an excellent structured on-line aftercare program.
Dr. Hargroder addressed the risks of surgery and the life-style changes required by the surgery to make sure people knew there were risks and this was not a magic solution.
I would rate Dr. Hargroder very high. He and his staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend him to anyone planning to travel for the surgery.
The doctor was highly competent and his manner was excellent. I am a nervous nelly but he put me at ease.
