Wiregrass Surgical Associates Bariatric Center

My Husband and I were both very impressed with Dr. Fendley. He is very knowledgable about this surgery, answered our question in very easy to understand terms. He and his Bariatric Nurse, Chalice, made us both feel very easy and comfortable.
Chalice just kinda took us by the hand and took over after we discussed everything with Dr.Fendley and she took control of Everything. She is wonderful and I am so glad I chose Dr. Fendley for this surgery.

Dr Robbins has been excellent! He is very patient and very kind. He is straight to the point and honest. He is very helpful at explaining things. When I first met him he reminded me of someone that I worked with in the past. That was a little different but getting to know him as a physcian has been a positive experience. It made me feel very comfortable with him that he wanted to include my family with my care.

I met with my surgeon yesterday. I was Impressed (even though he looked very young). He answered most of my questions even before i had to ask them. I was very comfortable with him and his staff. He explained all the risk and benefits. I am planning a surgery date in January because of my work and scheduling, He thinks that is a good time considering all the testing and insurance stuff. My next appt. with him is August 25th, I have to write a letter for the insurance company explaining my dieting history and why I want this surgery. That means I have to try and remember the last 20 years. I don't think I can remember all the diets I have tried, this is going to be interesting. I will keep yall posted. Wish me luck.

I met with Dr. Robbins today and I was really impressed. I didn't have to ask him a lot of questions--he answered them before I had to even ask them. The office staff was
really nice. He stressed the importance of all concerned in the process--not only my part, but his, the dieticians, the office staff, my family, and even the support groups. He told me all about the possible risks associated with this surgery--not to discourage me, but so that my family and I would all be aware of them.

DR. ROBBINS IS THE GREATEST!!!!

My first impression of Dr. Robbins is that he had a good bedside manner and answered all of my questions. In a way that was not belittling at all. The staff have been very nice. He did emphasize aftercare and that it is very important to him. He did mention the risks of the surgery to me also. I have been pleased each time that I have seen Dr. Robbins. My surgery went great and I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon!!! I had mine on a friday and there was a dr. there to cover for him during the weekend. He was very nice. But Dr. Robbins was there monday morning and was great. I would highly reccommend him as a surgeon!!! I look at him as an archangel for those of us battling obesity :-) Never once has he made me feel uncomfortable and always professional in his actions, but caring in his attitude. But it does take a while to get in to see him and get the surgery done. It took 3 months for me. I know that others have had to wait a lot longer time, but it seemed like my rebirth day wouldn't ever get here :-)

MY FIRST MEETING WITH DR. ROBBINS WENT VERY WELL. HE WAS VERY COURTEIOUS AND UNDERSTANDING TO MY SITUATION. HIS STAFF WAS ALSO VERY NICE TO ME.DR. ROBBINS EXPLAINED ALL THE RISKS OF HAVING THE SURGERY.

I have heard of Dr. Robbins from his patients in my support group. They are very satisfied with him and I haven't yet contacted him. I plan on doing it this week.

There are not enough words to describe how great Dr. Scott Robbins is. He is a very compasionate doctor. I first met with him in July and I liked him from the beginning. I never felt afraid to ask him questions. He was always willing to answer any questions that I had for him. I would definitely recommend him to anymore who wants to find out about this surgery.

I had my first consultation with my surgeon, Scott Robbins on Jan. 9th. I was actually very pleased with him and it seemed like he understood about being so obese and not having any choices left. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like is that my next appointment isn't for another month. This really bothers me, I was hoping to get this done faster. He puts alot of emphasis on aftercare, much at the beginning all the way to life long once a year check ups. He was very blunt about the risks of surgery, but I feel that right now they are not a concern. After this first visit I would rate him a 9, since noone is perfect and this gives him room to grow.
If there is anyone out there who has had surgery performed by Dr. Robbins, please get in touch with me and give me your comments about the whole surgery and afterwards.

Dr. Robbins is a very compasionate physician.
My impression of him hasn't changed any since my first consultation with him.
The staff in his office is very nice.
There isn't anything i would have bad to say about Dr. Robbins.
He is great and i would recomend him to anyone.
I would rate him on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being terrible and 10 being wonderful i would give him a 10 1/2.
Everything about him is good, my older brother had it 5 weeks ago and i would say his attitude towards you is the best of any physician i have been to before.
