Love him!! Just absolutely love him. He is so cool. His staff are sooo on the ball. I felt comfortable there every minute. He is concerned completely about the safety of surgery and has honed his surgical skills to minimize complications and risk factors. His infection rate is .8 and his complication rate is .8. So less than 1% chance really made me happy, happy, happy!!! I even talked to him about doing my tuck afterward. He said "when your all little...it'll be easier to fix your hernia". ALL LITTLE!! ME??? LITTLE??? OH my gosh! He is even going to do me and my sisters surgery ON the same day!!! Just like we wanted.

He was very professional prior to surgery and continues to be after surgery. The staff were all very helpful when I was pre-op and trying to get approval from the insurance company. What a nightmare that was!
Dr. Coster is very concerned about life after the surgery. I am still seeing him once a month and my surgery was 8-27-02.
I was concerned that when I called the office with questions, they didn't call me back, but Dr. Coster told me there was nothing to call me for because everything I called about was normal after the surgery.
I would rate him a very qualified surgeon both medically and "bedside" manner.
He still continues to praise my progress which is very important to me.

My first impression of Dr. Coster was that he was very professional, friendly, and confident!
The offices are brand new and very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The waiting room had many seats, a water cooler and huge windows to daydream out of while you wait. The
exam room was a good size with 2 chairs for you and a partner and a small desk with a physician seat in the corner. I think the thing I liked the least about the office was the 6 month wait to get in with Coster, but I guess that's what you have to do to see one of the best...he has recently added another Dr. to his office to help get patients taken care of since this procedure has become so well known. He has talked to me about the risks, benefits, procedure itself, hospital stay & aftercare.
He also encourages a close relationship with your pcp post-op. He is very confident in his procedure and puts you at ease with his great bedside manner. His staff seems nice, only really dealt with the nurse who took me back and got my stats. She was very friendly.
No complaints or problems here so far!! I am comfortable and satisfied with my 6 month wait, I am confident that he and his staff are and will be worth it.

My initial visit with Dr. Coster was very good. his manner with patients may be as good as it gets. I am sure that he will be my surgeon if I make up my mind to have this surgery. I am older than most of his patients. I am 66 yrs old but Dr. Coster thinks I will be a good candidate for the surgery . I am just 100 lbs overweight, and my BMI is 40. MY main concern is causing my body too much trauma. I am still reading and studying. If anyone reading this is over 60, I would love to hear from you .

Dr Coster was very nice, caring and easy to talk to. He treated me very well and was very positive about my outcomes, being that I was 24, and had no health problems. He assured me that insurance would pay and they did. He was also very very correct about my great outcome. I would recommend him to anyone. Contact me with any questions [email protected] The office staff was also very nice, and helpful.

Dr. Coster is a caring person, very important when you will be spending alot of time with your surgeon. The office staff are very professional, willing to work with you no matter what.
Make your appointment as soon as possible, it took me 4 months to get an appointment.
I asked about success rate and if he had ever lost a patient. He explained he had lost one patient, not on the table but after, who refused to follow his after surgery care and took a flight resulting in blood clots. Very informative and avid enough that I knew I wasnt going to take the trip that I had previously planned.
I feel that both surgical competence and bedside manner are mportant, my fathers brain surgeon let me know that I was going with the best surgeon in the midwest. I felt very confident going in and out of surgery, never had any concern that I would not make it through.

I was really impressed with Dr coster. He seemed like he really cared. And He seems to have a good bedside manner. And was more worried about my health. That recieving money for the surgey. His office staff was very helpfu. I would recommend more people go see him. He seems that he will be there even more after the surgey. He does have a structured aftercare program. He did tell me of the many risk with the surgey. I would rate him out of 1 to 10 a 10. As far as being conecered very excellent doctor. Both surigal and beside maneer are important to me.
