Dr. Bena is very professional and courteous. Explains the surgery, pre-op, post-op, risks, diet before and after surgery: everything! Even shows you the band. Answers any questions you may have. Takes his time. I did not feel rushed at all like I have at other doctors' offices. The office staff at College Station are great. Very friendly and professional. I will miss going there as there are moving their office to Grand Prairie, Texas. Best Wishes to all of them. And Thanks for my band!!!!!!!! I feel great!!!!!!!!

The only thing I do not like is distance.
He was very professional and answered all quesdtions.

I saw Dr. Benavides last week and was very impressed. He went over everything thoroughly,k what to expect from the surgery, recovery,
and what to expect afterwords. He showed me the lap band. He is very considerate and concerned. I did not feel the least bit apprehensive to ask him any question.
I also met Penny and she was very caring too.
He even went over what you have to do before surgery and afterwards as far foods and supplements.
I would definely give him a 10 after my visit with him. My daughter also went and is considering the lap band.
