8/29/08 I met with Dr. Gornichec today for the first time since the seminar. I really like him. First of all he has given me more information about my health than five doctors and three specialists combined. I am impressed and thankful for his attention to detail. He seems nice, confident, and very knowledgeable and informative. He answered most of my questions without me needing to ask them and was clear in his definitions when I did ask questions. rnrnHis staff has been awesome so far. They are easy to get along with, prompt in calling me when necessary, and helpful in answering questions. I couldn't be more pleased.
He was handsome.rnHe is still handsome but and very caring and sensitive surgeon who listens to you. He has great bed side manner. rnHis staff is awesome. I love that there are not a 100 people working for him. I love that almost each visit you get to see everyone.rnHe is an excellent surgeon. He did everything he said he would and I have 100% faith in him.rnAftercare is a must for him. If he hasn't seen you he will get on the phone and call you himself till you come in. rnYes very structured. They know what they want and make you do it LOL. rnVery sensitive but very true to what they are. He made sure he repeatedly gave you the risks involved any either surgery. rnInfinity+rnBOTH!!
Great MD!! My first impression was that he had a great bed side manner. My impression of Dr. Gornichec has not changed. Janice the nurse and other staff members are wonderful and exceptionally helpful. As a future patient you will feel at ease. Aftercare is very important and structured. All of the risks of surgery were mentioned on more than one occasion. I would give Dr. Gornichec, and the office a 100 rating. I feel that both surgical comptence and bedside manner are very important in making a decision about surgery or any medical care. rnThank you,rnCherie White
My first impression of Dr G was that he was very strict. That never changed. His office staff was very helpful. He has a great sense of humor, and I'd reccomend him to anyone.
I really like Dr. Gornichec. While talking to him at my surgical consult, he is professional and personable. It's like talking to your best friend. He is very thorough and his testing is extensive. We found that I have number other unknown medical issues that I am not thrilled about.rnrnHis office staff are very good in dealing with the insurance company.
I am loving all the staff at Gornichec's office so far! They are helping me move along quickly.. I hope to get all my paperwork done this week! Then sleep study and surgery! Yes.
Dr. Gornichec is a very patient and caring doctor. He cares very much for his patients. My first visit was great. i like the way he explains every aspect of the surgeries and does not rush you. my lapBand surgery was on 9/13/2007..Now life started from that day forward ........
I met with Dr. Gornichec yesterday for the first tme , he was very nice , very sincere . He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable , I was very nervous about my appointment . I feel very fortunate to have such a caring surgeon and staff helping me through this process....more to come....
Dr. Gornichec is an outstanding surgeon. He is very meticulous and gives you lots of information so that you can make an informed decision. The office staff and nurses in his office are outstanding. Aftercare has been excellent. I recommend him all the time to friends and family that are considering Lap-band surgery. I think his \"surgical competence\" is outstanding.
