When I had my first appointment with Dr. Chua I felt very at ease with him. He doesn't make you feel like another patient. He's willing to answer all your questions openly and honestly and doesn't try to rush you off. His staff has been very helpful to me in being sure that I'm approved the first time.

Dr Thomas Y Chua is the best. Dr Chua is very informative and keeps the best interest of his patients in mind.
Dr Chua is always open to questions and opions. He makes you feel like a human being and not a $ sign.
He's office workers are great both at Siani and the layton office. Thanks Ladies and Dr Rudic, the follow up doctor.
I remember right after surgery how he came over, held my hand and informed me on how well the surgery went and wanted to know how was I feeling. I was was feeling great. I had the happy stuff in me. Later on he came to my room to visit and he was really concerned like a doctor should be.
The question is always, would I do it again? I Won't have to because Dr Chua did it right first time :).

When I attended Dr. Chua's seminar in Decemeber of 2003 right away I felt comfortable with him. He has a great personality and bed side manner. My first impression has remained true. The office staff was very friendly and accomodating. I can't say there is anything I did not like about him.
Dr Chua is a 10 on my scale!

The first time I saw Dr. Chua was at his seminar. He gave me the impression that he was very experienced, but was not out to "cure the world". He made it very clear that this was not for everyone, and that the journey was a lifelong one. If you are not seriously committed to this, you need to find another way. I met him personally in his office for one of the presurgical consults. He was quick and to the point, but offered many opportunities for me to ask questions. He let me choose which surgery I felt I wanted, and gave me the pro's and con's I needed to make the final decision. His office staff, especially Tammy, has been very helpful. Their whole program is very structured and almost "idiot-proof". I am not one those people who needs the constant hand holding, so Dr. Chua has been an easy choice for me.

I picked Dr. Chua for 2 reasons. FIrst of all he was the surgeon with the most experience in the type of surgery I wanted and secondly he was covered by my insurance company. I have yet to meet him as I must attend a seminar first. The office staff are very informative and helpful. I just wish that I could start some of my testing before I go to the seminar so that I can get the ball rolling. Unfortunately that is not possible as Dr. Chua has all the testing done at his facility and will not even schedule me until I go to the seminar. So therefore I must somehow be patient till then.
