I have to admit, I wasn't sure about Diana when I spoke to her over the phone but once I met with her in Dr. Valin's office, my impression of her changed! I think she just works ALOT!

I am so thankful I saw her, she went over my blood work with me and explained to me about part of the reason why I had trouble losing weight due to having part of my parathyroid removed. Not one doctor in the 10 years since I had surgery told me that it would do this!

All in all, she is a nice woman, very informative and definitely has the tools to help with a successful weight loss especially since she has been doing consultations specifically to weight loss surgery!

I thought Diana was excellent and tried to disregard a couple of negative reviews I had read about her...that is, until I became pregnant post operatively. I have left her messages and she has not returned my calls. I have already gained 20 pounds and I am only 12 weeks into my pregnancy. Post operative support would be nice, too!!!!!

My first impression was not good. She seemed rushed and bothered but once I met with her one on one, my view totally changed. She is very helpful and understanding. She even returned my call on a weekend.

She is snotty.

Diana has also written a book called
SIMPLE SOLUTIONS. It is not a very thick book,( 67 pages) but it is jam packed with valuable information. It spells out what to do after surgery, has nutritional info, recipes and exercise advice. Diana answered all of my questions completely and did not make me feel like a little kid. Was a great visit very knowledgeable.

I met with Diana Rosa on 12/15/04, in the New Haven Office, she was great I was late because I got lost and she was very understanding.I was so stressed by that point and she brought me to ease and then we discussed everything I needed to know asked me all the questions, and answered all my questions. I have been to dieticians before and she was different she didn't judge me, she understood all my pains. I would go to her again or call her with any questions that I will have in the future.
