Baptist Health Medical Center (COE) Hospital

I enjoyed my stay. The only negative thing was that I thought I would be on the 6th floor where gastric bypass patients usually go. Perhaps the floor was full or something. So I was on the 3rd floor where the staff was not as experienced in dealing with gastric bypass patients. No one, I mean no one came and got me up to walk or anything. Thank god I knew I was suppose to walk and I did. Nonetheless, the staff was very nice about helping get all hooked by up after my all of my walking, and I did a lot of walking too!

The staff on the third floor were awful. I only saw them when the shift changed. Getting anyone to come and help me get up for bathroom or to walk was impossible. Thank God my husband was there to help.

it's a good hospital, but they need to up date the decor

First off let me say I had some great nurses but the rest sucked! When I needed help to get out the "big girl" bed because of my IV no response. They did not offer me a bath until day 4! My mother did it for me. They were supposed to make sure I walked very hr, had O2 on and these pressure boots on and hooked up...when I did what I could myself and my family did the rest when they could. You can draw your own conclustions.

I ended up in the emergency room the night I came home from the hospital, ALL NIGHT. There was only one Doctor on duty and the place was full. It was a night mare and I hope I never have to go back to this hospital at least for an emergency.

I was on the 6th floor. All of the nurses that I had were wonderful. They were all well aware of my doctor's expectations and orders. When I needed pain medication, they were in my room within minutes of my request. I don't think that I could have received better care any where else. My experience was excellent and I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

The staff, was great. They made me feel like I was part of their family. I highly recomment them. Caring and kind is the best way I can think of to describe them

I did not have a good experience. I had some horrible nurses. And some great nurses. Some made it lots better than others. They need to hire more and let the ones that dont know how to do their work go.

My over-all impression of Baptist was good, everyone was very nice and helpful.

MY STAY WAS GREAT, THE 3RD FLOOR .B. WAS AWESOME, ESCPECIALLY THE RN SONYA, SHE WAS AWESOME, NEVER WANTED FOR ANYTHING. OVERALL WAS A GREAT EXPERIANCE.
