The only complaint I had was while the beds were oversized, the way the safty rails dropped forced you to jam you calf into the structure each time you got up. This brused my calfs and kept me from getting in and out of bed as much as I should have.

I can't even begin to say enough nice things about the care I was given here. Totally awsome. Nurses were there at any given moment to meet my needs. There was no indication that they were too rushed or busy to help me. They told me what was happening before it happened. The ICU was awsome--single private room with a "VIEW" from a big picture window looking over the city. Nice comfortable beds on both floors. Very clean facility (I think this was a brand new area.)

I thought Methodist had a great attitude towards bariatric surgery. It is only the beginning and they need to get all the corks unscrewed and it would be a great place. I did have an emergency and the RN and Resp Tech neither could figure out what was wrong with me. The same RN seemed to have issues with the fact that I was overweight by the rude comments she made. Besides that I had the upmost respect and support from all the other staff.
