Mills-Peninsula (COE) Hospital

This hospital has a special bariactric unit that handles everything concerning the surgery. When I checked in to the surgery center a special bariacric bed was waiting for me to take me in to the operating room and through recovery and up to my room. This was the kind of excellent specialized service I received through out my stay.

I have a few complaints:
1. It seemed as though the nurses were slightly slow to respond at times. Some didn't seem to care or comunicate well. Maybe they were short staffed.
2. My phone didn't work.
3. They took away the toilet seat raiser and handles which forced me to hurt myself.
4. Had to beg for anti nausea medicine.

All around a really great experience! I live in a small town and I am used to the hospital here, I was worried that by going to one in a larger metropolitan area I would encounter a less human environment- that was not the case at all. Every person I encountered, from the CNAs to the Nurses, to the Radiologist, to the Dieticians were kind, helpful and very friendly.
