I didn't meet one person that wasn't caring and concerned for me. I really appriciated their hard,caring and attentive work. I had my mom get a little goody basket for all of my helpers.

They have a very nice newer facility and I was impressed!

THEY THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT. THE ONLY THING I DIDNT LIKE WAS THE USE OF THE RECLINER BED I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THE STANDARD HOSPITAL BED.

This hospital experience was excellent. The staff was very conscientious and their care was second to none. The hospital experience was very positive.

I had an excellent experience. There were only two oops. I had surgery at seven a.m. I was very nervous so Dr. Christopherson (anesthesiologist I had for my C-section!) gave me a sedative. Then I was waking up in recovery. I spend four hours there as a bed was not available on the surgical floor yet. I was transferred to my room at noon. I shocked them when I asked if I could WALK to my bed. I had been laying on a gurney for so long, my back was killing me. They were very up on my pain management and never let me let it get out of control. Another downer was they were so busy on the surgical floor. I wouldn't see my new shift nurse until almost and hour and half into the shift. My second day I asked for a shower at seven thirty, I was not able to have one until noon because they were so busy. But overall, the staff was excellent! They treated me with utmost respect and gave me tremendous encouragement. I would recommend Sioux Valley Hospital and USD Medical Center to anyone having this procedure.

everyone was great the nurses were the best, always checking to make sure things were ok, except one who thought my cathider was a leash, but i was almost sad to leave

All the nurses except for one were very nice and helpful. Anything I needed they were there to accomodate.

They were the most helpful and caring people you could ask for.
