St. Marks Hospital Hospital

St. Marks was a great experience with knowledgeable and hospitable staff. The rooms are a bit small, but totally doable. They're great about making sure you're comfortable and following the doctor's orders. Like any hospital, they're in the room often taking vitals, etc, but they did seem to do it all at once so I could get a few hours of sleep at a time.

I was discharged the evening of the second day, and the RN was very thorough with my instructions.

I had my Gastric Bypass at St. Mark's Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah. Everything was great. They are very equipped with everything a bariatric patient may need as St. Mark's is a "Bariatric Center Of Excellence". My surgery went perfectly and the staff were all great during my whole stay and I felt very well taken care of. I chose Dr. McKinlay as my surgeon and he is brilliant, very caring and is an all round professional. His bedside manner is impeccable and he is an amazing surgeon who truly cares about you as a person as well as his patient.

I was very pleased over all with the service that I received from St. Marks.

Some of the nurses where great. Some wasn't. They were very helpful with me going to the bathroom. The nightshift wasn't as attentive as during the day.

I was very impressed with St. Mark's. I think that the staff is very professional and kind.

The hospital is quite nice and is well-equipped to handle bariatric surgeries. The staff were all very helpful and made my stay as pleasant as it could have been.
