The hopsital needs to work on patient care and less on visiting hours with each other.

The nurses were very good. There, however was one nurse that made a comment about my weight that was very uncalled for and very unprofessional

I like my night nurse better than my daytime nurses two of the days she was more attending to me. I had one problem with her and that is they decided to put in something to help me pee. Well she had never done it so it hurt, then it could have been avoided because I told her I did not have to go. So she got never little out of it, that was the most annoying thing. The daytime nurse on the last day I thought was a complete witch at first but by then end of the day I loved her she was the most helpful. My CNA's were all wonderful as well.

From my admit to my discharge I was treated great...like I was a real person with real needs. I wanted to go without pain meds, so I could recover sooner..and the nurse helped me to understand that if my body was not in pain it would be able to do what it needed to faster....so that helped me..there was a small mixup as to what room I would be in after surgery..so it took a couple hours to connect with my daughter..she was waiting in the other room they were going to put me in...but it worked out for the best..

I did not have my surgery @ St.Marks, But I have had 4 scopes since my surgery in December 05 and the staff rocked, they made sure I was warm and comfy, and constantly asked how I was doing, and always told me how well I was doing.

My stay was good. My night nurse Brian was very helpfull and I was well taken care of by him and the night staff. The following day shift nurse was not as attentive following my plan of care and I spent some time in pain. My room was good. The support staff was great.

Rooms were small but okay. The staff was good all but one CNA was great helped alot were very nice and always had something good to say about my progress there at the hospital.
