Great hospital and the staff is pleasant

I guess I was a little dissapointed in this hospital. I had expected it to be much nicer. The biggest thing that bothered me was the house keeping aspect of it!

The layout is really not conducive for patient privacy. The rooms are far too small, and to have one common shower room is so archaic. Please remodel and have individual showers in the patients' rooms.

I was well drugged so I felt no pain. If it weren't for my family, I would not have known how well I was cared for. Thanks for that!

My night of surgery was the best night of sleep I had had in many months!

Overall I liked the staff, but they were very slow to repond the few times I called for assisance to use the bathroom, which to me is a major thing. They were much faster with pain meds when I needed something in between the scheduled pain med they gave. Otherwise was a good experience if any hospital stay can be called good.

There is no such thing as peace and rest in a hospital. They couldn't control the kid that was noisily running up and down the halls all afternoon the day after I had surgery. Naturally there was the one overnight nurse that sticks out as the worst, but overall it was a good experience.

The "warming suits" before surgery are absolutely wonderful and calming. Having a bariatrics wing at the hospital was very nice. Having all private rooms was wonderful.
