Unity Hospital (COE) Hospital

I know that it seems funny how I selected all excellent ~ but I really think they were great.

I would up staying 3 days and was there during my daughters 17th birthday. I couldn't say thank you enough to everyone for the way I was treated and the way my feelings were handled. I encourage anyone thinking about surgery to check out Unity.

I had a good experience from start to finish.

I'd say it's a good hospital over all. I have no complaints.

The staff were wonderful! I had a large group of visitors and the staff brought in lots of chairs and made everyone feel at home! Thanks Unity staff!

A very excellent stay, nurses who attended had had gastric bypass themselves which really helped and they had good suggestions.

Unity has a Bariatric Wing so they were very well-versed in my post-op recovery and the staff (some of whom had had bariatric surgery themselves) we all absolutely terrific!

As I have said other places, the one day nurse I had should find a new career.

Great experience as far as a surgery goes. The bariatric staff are incredible. They make you feel very comfortable.

The last few rooms at the end of the wing I was in were private rooms and were for wls patients. Because my room was at the end of the hall it was nice and quiet. In order to get to the shower you needed to walk over to the next wing, done on purpose for us to get our walks in. The amount of walks needed for the day was put on the black board at the end of my bed. As I did them I crossed them off. Also I marked off the amount of fluids I took in. Some of Dr. Daniel Baker’s nurses had the surgery themselves, the rest are well-trained in it. It was an excellent place to be at for surgery, I felt I could rest and I was very comfortable. When I complained of my lower back hurting a little, they immediately brought me a K-Pad which I used the whole stay and it worked. I would highly recommend both Unity Hospital and Dr. Daniel Baker!
