Surgery went well I elected for VSG outside operating room. It was a lot more than I expected and I have high pain thresh hold. Recovery is going well as each day is getting better. Thinking of going up to our trailer in Sauble Beach to recover. They sure fill you full of fluids and gases I think a lot of pain is gas I'm having trouble to lay on back now whereas before I could only seem to lay on one side. No problem getting pills and vitamins down they've taken me off all blood pressure pills and metformin should be ok to stay off for good too. Tired as heck and thankful this parts done. Bye for now

Wow, that's great! There's no way I could have done that so soon after surgery; I was in so much pain I thought I'd die, lol.

Congratulations Camperguy. Give yourself all of the time you need and you will improve quickly. Walking helps the gas pains, even if you are tired. Do what you can and it will dissipate.

Keep us posted and wishes for a rapid recovery.

Camperguy,

Glad it went well....the moving will help the gas pain. Some also say placing something warm on your tummy helps too. It will get better. Take the time to rest as your body does need it to heal.

Good luck on the journey...and welcome to the bench.
