I would send you some if I thought it'd make it to you safely. John doesn't use recipes but here is basically what he used: 2 soft bananas, 1 cup peanut butter. 1/2 cup Splenda, coconut or almond flour in the amount suggested to sub in for 2 cups regular flour. 3 eggs. 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp each of baking soda and powder, 2 tsp cinnamon and about 1/3 stick of butter. He baked it in the bread machine on the quick bread setting.  :)

Hi there everyone! I know there was a weekend in there somewhere, but the past 5 days have blended in together, and I must say I enjoyed every moment of it. Except for last night... I don't even know what's up, but here's what happened. Using up the turkey in as many ways as I can think of, I ended up making turkey/homemade egg noodles last night. So after they had boiled for a bit, I tasted them... like tasted 1/2 of one, maybe 4 times while they cooked. I noticed they made me feel pretty 'heavy', but I didn't think much about it. I did choose to have the turkey salad I had also made instead of the noodles for dinner, but only could eat about 2 ounces before I was full. Fast forward to midnight, and I wake up and have to rush to the bathroom... my whole dinner came back up. WTF? I know the turkey salad was fine (I ate turkey all weekend, and this particular salad had turkey I ran through the food processor, so it was really chopped up small. My half asleep mind last night blamed it on the noodles... No telling. Good thing is, I have no desire to eat those noodles that are left over in the fridge!

QOTD: I think I've answered something about this before. My clinic really scared me into thinking that popcorn was off the menu FOREVER... once coming here, I see that lots of people eat it. I'm not a huge fan of it UNLESS I'm at the movie theater... Please drench my popcorn in the movie butter and serve it with an extra side of napkins. I haven't been to the movies yet partly because of my yearning for that...

B: Beef jerky 1/2 ounce, premier protein shake, decaf cup of coffee with cream

L: Going out to eat with a co worker. Protein forward

D: Probably more of that dang turkey (cooked Saturday)

S: No clue, I may  not need more than my decaf coffee at night

Weight this morning 168.0

I did have an epiphany this weekend... while whipped cream is low in carbs/sugar... there are 555 (37 servings/ 15 calories a serving) calories in a can... and I ate them all over a 4 day period. I completely lost my **** over that can of whipped cream... like walking by the fridge, squirting it in my mouth, losing my **** I consumed 555 calories of whipped cream (and 37 grams of carbs)...

I have lost the right to bring home another can of whipped cream. Obviously I don't have the proper restraint to get to have it!

I had a similar love affair with Cool Whip.  That stuff is knitted from the wings of angels I think. I never really cared for it pre-surgery but oooohhhhmy how I did love it this weekend!!! I wanted pumpkin pie so bad I thought I would stab Grim's nun in the eye...instead I put two heaping scoops of Cool Whip on my protein rich oatmeal.....nom nom nom.  The scale is all good but it was a close call.  No more Cool Whip in the house...maybe ever.

Cool whip used to make a chocolate flavored cool whip- that sung sweet songs to my heart.  They discontinued it I believe- I nearly cried when I learned that. I still look for it in the market- despite knowing subconsciously it won't be there.

I'd become a nun and risk being stabbed by the popcorn livers if it'd get me some chocolate cool whip.

sorry to hear about the egg noddles, that sucks!! Some days I just don't know how our pouches work in the sense that what some of us can eat others can't, totally trial & error.

Its so weird, I really like popcorn but can't stand the movie theater "butter" stuff, my hubby goes ape **** for it but not me, I want mine 'naked' LOL

I literally laughed out loud with the "lost the right to bring home another can of whipped cream", all I can picture is you with multiple cans of WC under your jacket and trying to sneak them into the house, like you have some illicit drugs or something LOL

Well be strong girl, we all got your back!
