My juice of choice is and has been for years Marzetta's Colossol Spiced Olives. Can't wait to actually eat the olives soon!

I know a few people who got off alcohol by drinking pickle juice - go for it!

...and someone said pickle juice keeps leg cramps away! So, you're HELPING yourself! Lol! I drink pickle juice, too... Do we need to start a 12 step group for pickle juice drinkers??

my surgeon says the sensors for sweet and sour are very similar or closely related or something like that and very often a sour taste will satisfy a perceived need for sweets. So sounds fine to me. Many of us find ourselves super sensitive to sweet tastes after surgery as most protein drinks taste way too sweet so craving a sour thing may be very normal. Go for it. I now have to have dill pickles in my tuna. Just have to.    Diane

I am 4 days out from gastric sleeve surgery. My stomach has not been very comfortable. The thing that has helped the most is shaved ice with pickle juice in it!

Thank you for this. I was craving a hotdog and instead grabbed the pickle and peppercini juice and it hit the spot. Since I'm not a salt person, I put my numbers in Myfitnespal and it was slightly over but balanced out my low sodium this week.

At least it has no real nutritional value. I feel like that saved me today.

I have posted several times that pickles are my go to snack when I want something sweet or just need the mouthfeel of crunching something.  My biggest disappointed came last month when Costco quit carrying my favorite cold pack pickle spears.  Vlasic and Clausen are my other favorites.  My wife mentioned this to her nutritionist and she said pickles are a great snack.

During my liquid phase, luckily for me only 1 week, I loved a shrimp consomme that a local restaurant served.  I bought a couple of quarts to get through the last few days.
