At this point, you should be able to eat most foods unless they bother your stomach. You have to decide which foods are appropriate -

If you "cheat", you are ONLY cheating yourself. No one else cares what you eat. Its your body, your weight loss. So maybe you dont lose as quickly, maybe you stop losing, maybe you gain, and maybe nothing happens.

Read the post below up expecations - its a good one.

And im really confused - you wanted a zumba surgery?

The Sleeve was only surgery on my stomach, not my head.  I know the mental part of this is half the battle, so I'm in counseling to work through my obsession with food.  We are all tempted and the key is to get to the root of why food is the solution to non-food problems.  And to find other strategies to deal with it.  Not easy!

I can eat almost anything.  There's nothing I've tried so far that disagrees with me.  BUt that doesn't mean I eat it just because my stomach allows.  Corn has way too many carbs for me.  Carbs slow or stop my weight loss, so those are my consequences.  Your mileage may vary.

I don't totally understand your comment about your doctor allowing you to get the surgery you wanted.  Hopefully you did not get a surgery that wasn't what you wanted.  We are all responsible for making the right choices for ourselves.

Good luck and read through this board for more help!  It's good stuff.

I cannot eat corn because it doesn't agree with me and gives me painful gas pains. I can have a bite but more than that and I'm in trouble.

What a person can eat varies from individual to individual. There's going to be some trial and error in determining what agrees with you. Time is also a factor. A food that causes you trouble today may agree with your sleeve a month from now.

If you cheat you may foam, slime or have stomach pains. The discomfort helps you not cheat. Nothing will happen if you have a small treat. One square of chocolate is fine, the entire candy bar will hurt you.

Thank you all for your comments wow it helps me a lot. For Zumba I was just wondering is it a good thing or should I just stick with my gym routine.... But again thank you so much

What was different than you thought?  What surgery did you really want and why would your Dr not let you get it?

The surgery that I really wanted was the RNY I got the sleeve and the way I feel is just not understandable but I have received good feedback from other members advising me to reach out to counseling and other support types....Regarding my doctor I am going to have a serious talk with him because I should have had the right to have the surgery I wanted but thinking what if he just wanted me in the future if I do not succeed to have to go back to get the RNY...SOOOOOOOOOOO CONFUSSED

I guess i would ask then why you think you are failing?  you say the temptation is still there but no surgery will stop you from wanting food the most it can do is limit your capacity to have it.  As is often said on here it is not your brain they operate on but your gut.  Your desire will not go away.  since you have this sleeve my best advice to you would be to use it to the best of your capabilities.  Have you lost weight so far?  And finally what are you confused about?   there is a section here on OH of FAQ's about every surgery.  You might want to have a look at it for the VSG and it may help you understand more.
