His CO will put an end to anything like that and assist him in clarifing his thoughts. The Sailors and Soldiers Act may prevent him from doing anything while deployed. Check on it.  Sorry to hear you are going through this emotional BS but life is full of bad days so you know when to enjoy a good day.

If my husband told me this I would be GONE. I don't give a rats ass if he is under a lot of pressure and stress. You either have a strong enough bond to pull together in tough times or you don't . Because he is so far away he took the cowards way out and asked for his way out of his marriage.

My Ex brother in law did this to my sister and it broke her heart, but she finally found someone who has stuck with her through MANY bad times. I'm sure she thought her world was over at the time and she too " NEVER SAW IT COMING " her ******g coward ex walked away from her and their two young children.
