I just got on the scale, and it said I was 270. When I went to the hospital I was 302, and when I left I was 308. I just on the scale and I am 270.. My jaw dropped to the ground. I just had surgery last thrusday. This is crazy.

Some of it is because you were full of fluid from IV while at the hospital.  But congrats on the non-fluid loss.

Best wishes.

I had gastric bypass. Before I went in the hospital I was 302. So I know I gained 6 pounds of water weight. And I'm sure some of the weight I lost was water from that and maybe a bit of it was water I was retaining, I am always walking and I keep myself going. I was told to rest, but I am not the type to just sit and relax. That's so hard with kids. I just hope it keeps going good for me

I was the same way gained a bunch of water weight and lost that plus a bunch! I had surgery 10 days ago and I was 271 a few days before surgery, 280 the day I came home and now I'm 256. 24 pounds in 10 days! Thats some crazy weight loss! Although I know it will slow down it's a great way to jump start things. Congrats on the crazy awesome weight loss!

I am so happy for you and a bit jealous.  I had my surgery on June 5th and I have only lost 10lbs.  Thats amazing for you, congratulations!

Don't be jealous, your loss is perfectly normal and great!!!!!!!!!!! It's a marathon - not a sprint. :)
