Trying to incorporate more fats into my diet.

Any ideas on how to get more healthy fats into my diet. I love avocados, and olive oil, but I'm looking for new ideas.

Ribs. They have that convenient handle built in that makes them highly portable as well.

Extra dietary fat is what's responsible for my shiny coat.

That's what I'm looking for, a shinier coat. I'm sick of dull lifeless hair, and skin that is dry and not healthy looking.

How do you feel about whipped cream.

I don't think Julia would want me talking about the whipped cream.

If you don't already, Fuller fat yogurts and cottage cheese as well as almonds are great. Peanut butter too.

Yes I was also going to say switch to full fat dairy.

I put MCT oil/liquid coconut oil into my morning latte. Heat the milk in microwave add oil, emulsify in with a stick blender then add coffee. For a long time I was doing a tbsp. Lately a tsp. I buy it at Walmart- Carrington Farms brand.

Thank you NYMom. Where did you buy your stick. I only have a small whisk.

You could put it in a regular blender too. Mine is a Cuiinart I am sure I got at 30% off at kohl's. I use a wide mouth mason jar which is the perfect size.

Official name is immersion blender. There are plenty of cheap ones out there too.

I have an immersion blender, but it is so big (probably over 12" long), and hard to handle. I'm afraid it would spray every where. There would warm milk all over my kitchen.

Great for soups and sauces, or pulverizing nuts.

I eat full fat dairy and use HWC in my coffee in the mornings. I've never been able to face MCT and Kerrygold in coffee and not because I don't like the taste, I've never even tried it; just the thought starts my gag reflex lol.

I still malabsorb fats and they definitely give me gastric distress. I still find bacon to be the best solution to constipation

I would definitely introduce them slowly ... just in case.

I also have a lovely coat and skin lol.
