It's been a long time coming...and it might be for other reasons...but I'm claiming it because the scale says so, and the other reasons are being taken care of.....

The "other reasons"....I'm in Infusion City, week two.
I got rather sloppy about nutrition and supplements from January to April,,,the month Mom passed away, and maybe even longer. My 6 month labs drawn in July were not good,the worst I've ever had. I expected bad labs due to the issues I was facing and my slipshod attention to DS nutrition...but not to the point of infusion! Thank GOD I have great MD's who will listen to me!
I've always had tiny veins, and they keep blowing, so I'm getting a port for the remainder of the infusions. The nurse tried for three hours today to get into a vein that would hold.
I had a PICC line for my DS because of my veins blowing.
I'm going to suggest pediatric needles first, and if that doesn't work, I'll get the port.
Just infusions, not PPN or TPN. Multivites, calcium and iron IV.
