Onderland and century club!
Well, after a couple of weeks of stalling I finally broke through and reached two milestones at the same time "I have lost 100lbs and entered onderland for the first time in too many years!
I can do so many more things, walk 3-5km without a "rest stop", paint my toes, take a bath without worrying if I can get out of the tub, wear "normal" sized clothing having gone from a 22-24 to a 14-16. I have all kinds of energy, am generally a much happier person.
I still have some food issues and do not push the boundaries, I introduce new things slowly and will know quickly if it is too high in sugar or fat (can't tolerate either). Drink lots of water and religiously take my vitamins. I concentrate on protien first and if I have room I add the veg then fruit. I get lots of compliments (still can't get used to that) and queries on what I have done-I take time to explain the process and don't worry about being judged for my decision because I feel better than I have in years!
I weigh myself every few days and take my measurements every two weeks (77 3/4 " lost so far), I also write in a journal to track my emotions and keep my goals in focus.
I have no doubt that I will reach my personal goals and want those of you waiting to know that it is worth every frustrating day of wait and every anxious moment.
Thanks to the vets for your wisdom and each of you for your support and encouragement.
Look out world the bench warmers are getting in the game!
