I got a date today...May 10th. I got in when someone cancelled. 14 days until the big day. I ate breakfast this am and then got the call so I started optifast at lunch.

I go next week for my pre-op consult. It has happened sooo fast.

Thanks. Everyone I told was more worried than anything else so I am trying to stay focused. I am having the surgery in Ottawa.

Thanks. I am sure it will seem less surreal Ina couple days. I am having the surgery in Ottawaa and just got the news that my position survived the cuts. So now I can just think about this.

That's wonderful news. I got a last minute call, too, when I had my surgery. It helps when you don't have to dwell on starting Opti. You just do it.
