What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)

Good morning Pouch Pals as Ginny says. Looks like it's going to be another beautiful day. I hope everyone had a good break over the long weekend.

Today I'm going swimming in the morning, then I have to make a bunch of calls, more paperwork (blah), and this evening I'm doing a yoga class. I woke up with pain in my leg, so I am hoping the activity will help. The joys of aging (double blah).

The eats today at 2.5 years post-op:

Rivers of decaf with Premier Protein Vanilla used as a creamer/sweetener

Poached egg on crabmeat (it was on sale, and I'm worth it lol) with some Hollandaise on top

Flat iron steak sliced thinly on salad with Bolthouse dressing

SKYR yogurt with all the fixin's

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning CC!!! I had a glorious day yesterday!! Sorry I didn't post. I took the doggies for a good walk in the morning and then spent the rest of the day on the deck in my swing chair reading a book! Got a little sun burnt!! I wanted to go to the gym but couldn't bring myself to go in outta the sun! That's my excuse anyway!!

Today I will go for a jog at lunch, Week 6 day 3! I can't remember if I posted about my jog on Sunday but I killed it!! 5.2 kms in 41 mins....Tonight I'm going with a couple of girlfriends to a Paint Nite. We opted for dinner as well, so mine will be fish and salad (had to pre-order). I used to do crafty painting so hopefully I don't suck at this! Its a glass of red wine on the arm of an Adirondack chair on the beach!

Eats today

B - 3 oz beef, 1 egg

S - 2 oz blueberries, greek yogurt

L - caramelized onion and swiss meatballs

S - deli turkey

D - fish and salad

haven't logged it yet, so no totals.

Have a great day.

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Ginny I don't blame you for not wanting to get out of the sun. We get cooped up during those grey days of winter and our bodies just want that warmth and Vit. D. My husband asked when I was making dinner on Saturday when i was out working in the yard. It felt like when you were a kid at the beach and your parents said "You've got 5 more minutes to swim, then you have to get out of the water". I did not want to go inside and cook.

You are doing an amazing job with running. The paint party sounds like fun, and your painting sounds like it will be one of those that you look at to destress (finding your happy place, as they say in yoga)
