Liquid Calcium?
The calcium you are taking is not the right kind for us. I checked the GNC website to see what you referenced and they are calcium carbonate. We do not absorb carbonate because we lack stomach acid after RNY. We need to take calcium citrate instead.

Darn, you are right! My husband went after my surgery to buy all my vitamins the day after I got home from my RNY. The guy at GNC asked my husband right away after asking for the specific kind of protein shake if it was for someone who had gastric bypass. My husband said yes and then he directed him to these calcium supplements. Jeesh!!! I'm glad I posted--guess I'll have to gag down another pill or grainy chewable. I'm sad
Bariatric Advantage makes a chewy calcium. Here's the link.

They are delicious. Beth and Andrea both have reviews on their blogs and rave about how good they taste. I've tasted them at the OH Conference and they are delicious!
