Spanx or not to Spanx

Just curious to know how many of us use spanx/shapers???

I use one depending on the outfit.  If my outfit shows my inner tube belly/muffin top I will wear one.  But sometimes i am just sexy the way I am.  lolol

Anyone else?

I'm with you--if what I'm wearing will fit or look better with the shapers, I wear 'em. If not, I just let it all hang out.  :D

I wear them daily, wether I need it or not. I figure it might help with the excess skin. It might just be hopeful thinking though. Also, it prevent my skin from bouncing around while I'm at work running around.

thanks! I guess technically I could go without the spanx, but I've gotten use to them now. I take them off at home to chill on the couch, bit if I'm going out, they go right back on. I feel naked without them.

I cannot eat when I wear Spanx. I thought I had them too tight, but went to get fitted by the Spanx rep recently and she said I was in a size too large for me and when she put me in the right size, I could literally only take in liquids. So for now, I do not wear them because I already struggle to get my food in at meal times.

I wore shapewear everyday pre-plastics. And still wear it when I wear something formal. In my not-so-humble opinion 90% of us who have not had plastics need to be wearing it, especially if wearing something form fitting. Muffin tops are not attractive. A good bra and shapewear can make all the difference in the world.

No. I wore them during weightloss. I'm past goal and I don't feel I need them.

I wear them everyday. I am 54 years old and have lots of excess skin on my stomach. I feel and look much better when I wear it. People frequently tell me that they can't believe I lost 140 pounds. If I didn't wear shapewear they would be able to tell for sure!
