HELP?!! I feel like I am having it too easy. I have no problem getting my liquids in but I have ABSOLUTLEY no appetite. I can drink protein shakes but food just makes me gag. Any advice?

Congratulations on your surgery  This is normal, give it time.  You are dealing with swelling as well as the new tiny stomach.  As long as you are getting in your protein and water you are ok.  Stay in touch with your surgeons office with any questions!

Keep us posted on how you are doing

Are you trying to eat solid foods just 1 week post-op?

I could not imagine... my progression is 1 week of clear liquids, 1 week of full liquids, 3 weeks of pureed foods, then finally after 6 weeks start incorporating solid foods.

What about something with a little more liquid in it, like egg drop soup? I am pre-op and writing menus and such - I made THIS yesterday and it was delicious!

I was in purees by then too, but scrambled eggs were not sitting well with me either. I did not try pureed meet until almost two weeks out. I lived on melted cheese, cottage cheese, eggface's ricotta bake, and greek yogurt for the first two weeks.

Almost 2 months post-op and sometimes my new tummy hates scrambled eggs. Today was fine, yesterday, not so much.
