Good morning! Happy Sunday. Sounds like you had a blast yesterday and have another one lined up for today. I enjoyed a baby shower yesterday and spending time with my sister and brother in law in the evening. I also made little "apple pies" because I knew they were all planning on having pie and ice cream last night. I used wonton wrappers for the crusts, they came out pretty yummy (John and Em even were taste testing them for me when they were fresh out of the oven). Today I am going to use more wonton wrappers to make lasagna cups. 

On plan for today is church later this morning, stopping at the library for Em and running a few errands in prep for the week. 

Menu for today: latte and shake for breakfast, pork loin and carrots for lunch, normal afternoon snacks, and a lasagna cup and apple pie for dinner. Got in my six miles this morning and water and vits are on track.

I hope everyone has a great day!

ETA: I forgot the QOTD: I have my Fitbit flex. It seems to track pretty accurately for me most of the time (except for like when I'm at the grocery store and have my hand on the cart).

Love the picture of you and the young Elvis. So adorable. Let go of yesterday. It is a new day. I blew it yesterday on a cookie from WAWA. It was really good. Till I looked to see how many calories it was. Was back on track at dinner. Before I would of said F it and kept on eating.

I use my Iphone for measuring my exercise. 

B:2 24 oz coffees one mixed with a protein shake

L:Chicken tenders with no breading

D:Hot dog maybe some watermelon

S:Yogurt with a Quest chocolate chip bar cut up in it

Got my four and half miles in. I didn't think I could do it. I did it and feel accomplished

Being only 12 days out from surgery, this is my first menu post - here goes:

B - Greek yogurt

S - Premier Protein drink

L - Turkey and cheese w/mustard

D - Chicken and carrots

S - Premier Protein drink

I'm on soft foods for 1 month, so this is pretty typical of most days for me.

I won't be released to exercise (other than walking) until I'm 6 weeks out.  I do have a Fitbit, but have never used it.  Need to figure out how to sync it to my computer to get it started.  Just my own laziness in the past, but that is definitely changing.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday - it's uncommonly cool in Chicago today, so I'm enjoying having the windows open all day

Welcome, so glad you posted! I hope you are feeling great at 12 days out and starting to get the hang of everything. The menu board is a great place to ask questions and get ideas.

15 months out

 

B:  6 oz Greek yogurt with 10 grams of added whey isolate protein, 10 raspberries

L:  a cup of leftover salad (had diced ham & cheese on it)

S:  protein shake

D:  3 oz baked cod with ginger/miso sauce.  Probably a quarter cup of quinoa with mixed veggies (Trader Joe's) or some fresh tomatoes with it

S2:  I sometimes have a sugar free popsicle, sugar free fudgesicle, or Light & Fit Greek yogurt at night
