Isn't it strange? I'm the same height so technically, the reach should not have changed but it has! I'm sure there's a diagram or something that explains it but it seems like some kind of magic to me!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!

Howdy!

Today in between work and client issues, I will be baking pies to take to family Thanksgiving, making sweet potato casserole, green beans and trying to stay sane.....

Whenever I stall on the weight loss, I notice I am trending towards nibbling on cereal 1/3 cup of low sugar cheerios or eating PB powder a TB or less or generally nibbling when I am cooking. Not good but I still weigh and measure so I am not exceeding 700 calories, but nonetheless, I shouldnt do it at all. :(

WOW, too many things to be grateful for that I am having trouble just picking one. Grateful to have a beautiful home, great husband and pets!!! :)

Food for today:

Isopure banana

3 ounces of chicken and small salad

Dinner: Probably more chicken and a veggie

Dessert: Protein pudding or low carb yogurt

Around here we call those BLTs (bites licks and tastes). Be careful-- they really add up and most times we forget to log them because they seem so tiny and innocent.

Good morning Teena and menu folks! I'm back from an early hour of swimming and running errands. Now to clean the house before our trip. I hate to leave the house in a royal mess to come home to. So lots to do today.

Tomorrow about noontime, we head up the road to upstate NY to spend the holiday with my MIL. I love her dearly and she is so sweet even as her dementia worsens. It is hard to see her having difficulties, but we enjoy her the best we can.

In great news, I had my mammogram and breast ultrasound yesterday and they found a large fluid filled cyst. The good news is that it was benign and they were able to drain it. So now I am cyst-free. I am so relieved, and it is a real reminder to keep a fierce check on any changes. With the weight loss things have changed so much and I need to keep on top of it.

QOTD: I am grateful that my body feels stronger and more able than it has in many years. I enjoy my exercise and how it makes my body feel. I am able to walk and swim without getting out of breath. Can do several flights of stairs at work without a struggle. It is a real motivation to keep working out.

Accountability: I had a handful of walnuts yesterday afternoon when I got home from the appointment. I guess it was a reward, not an unhealthy one, but a food reward anyway. Not the best choice to reward myself with food, but I could have made worse choices.

Menu:

Breakfast: 1/2 cup plain oatmeal, hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham

Snack: Grape protein shake

Lunch: Turkey breast, broccoli slaw

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple

Dinner: filet mignon, cauliflower

Exercise: 60 minutes of swimming already done

HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.
