We have two b&w cats. Both are short haired. They were both ferrals and even after years are sometimes skittish.

Good morning everyone!

no pics today for me

yippie made it for my first week back after the big move. got the dogs back from the boarders yesterday and setup a makeshift pen in the yard for them until the fence is done. Can't wait for them to explore the space a bit more. only one accident on the floor so far. and on the CARPET no less. sheesh

this weekends plans include: finishing the chik pen, getting said chickens on sunday, unpacking some more, grocery shopping, getting new stove delivered today !! , exploring the new town.

OH - and I made the mistake of buying xytilol last night at the health food store and putting 2 tablespoons in my coffee. I was in the worst pain possible the middle of the night before i realized- duh this is sugar alcohols!! kind of forgot about that- if SF gum makes you ill, than this really will. No wonder!! BUT the health food stores is amazing!! like a mini whole foods, she has a bulk section, canned goods, fresh foods, vitamins etc!

Food for today

leftover wings

leftover pizza toppings

coffee

not sure on dinner maybe turkey meatballs?

You have dogs and chickens? I'm so jealous, lol. Glad the move went smoothly, and hope you're feeling better.

Too much sugar free gum acts like a laxative to me.

FYI: Not sure if you know taht but xylitol can be deadly to dogs. So be careful with that around them.

Happy Friday ! I meet with my surgeon again today. I've already had a consult with him, he is the one who did the endoscopy, and then I had to go back to his office for the results of that procedure, and now this visit. I'm only 4 months into my 6 months supervised weight loss, so not sure what I'm going in for today. We'll see.

QOTD: ok so I'm not good at remembering jokes, but my dear younger sister who now is in heavan had a favorite joke and every time she tried to tell it would get so tickled she couldn't ever get to the punch line! She finally did one time, so I can retell it, lol. Here goes, a man is hiking in the woods, meets up with a bear and says to the bear, "me bear, you wouldn't eat me would you? I think you are a nice Christian bear and wouldn't eat me, would you?" The bear thinks for a moment and says, "thank you Lord for the food I'm about to receive...." this is so corny , but it would crack me up listening to her trying to get it out before busting up. So funny. Miss her dearly and can't wait to see her again.

Not sure how food is going to line up today, but will make good choices..
