What's on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?

Good morning. I'm in a particularly weird mood today. I decided to test out the workplace parking garage speed limit. Everyday I pull in and say - that's the silliest speed I've ever seen (5 MPH). So I decided I'd comply today and see what happens. First 5 MPH in my car is actually IDLE. I didn't touch the brake or the gas the entire time and I was tracking exactly 5 MPH. Next, as you'd expect, I got honked at by a person as they sped around me and gave me a dirty look. 5 MPH is turtle slow. I was laughing the whole time as I did it. Yes, I'm weird. Oh and it's oatmeal month at work. Not sure if other companies do this, but for year's February is heart health month and they give away free oatmeal. You'd think they were tossing out free money. The line is long, but always fun talking as we wait. But I was watching people take the bowl (either 12 oz or 16 oz). The ladle is a cup. I looked up on MFP - jeez 1/2 cup 150. I took half cup and added protein powder and 1 tbs almond butter. I figure I'd do that on Fridays this month as a healthy treat and to participate with the program (they always have a booth set up with info and free trinkets - my company does cool stuff like that all the time - kinda nice). I told a friend who asked me to coach her that her oatmeal bowl (which she showed me very proudly) was over 600 calories - 50% of her daily goal. She looked a little sad when I told her. We are talking about MFP today to help her out.

QOTD - I'm a terrible joke teller, so I'm afraid I'll pass today on the question. You should thank me.

My buddy Oreo is going under the knife today to remove a cyst on her eyelid. I gave her a big kiss this morning before I left. My other buddy Brandy left us right before Christmas. She was the best dog I every had. I really hope the movie "A dog's life" is true. I look forward to her finding us again. I'll know it's her because he just loved to have her backside rubbed and would bang her paws on the floor if we stopped. I do miss her. We rescued all our dogs and decided to get Mattie (bottom pix) about a month before Brandy passed. She's a ball on energy. Brandy was 14 and Mattie would chase Oreo around the house and they'd crash into Brandy all the time.

Love the pics of your fur babies! Now that I am in maintenance I eat 1/2 cup of plain oatmeal most days. It is great fiber, but lots of carbs! Then people add lots of brown sugar and other toppings and it isn't so healthy.

You look great!

I'm not a sports person but since I'm assuming the Eagles are a team (and not the band, lol), go Eagles!

Daisy, I love your dogs, and every time you post pictures of them I'm reminded of my first fur-child, Rebel

QOTD: Why couldn't the Pirate sit down??? Because he had his booty stolen! What do you call a magician dog??? A Labracadabra! What did the Leper say to the Prostitute??? Keep the tip....

Accountability: Good yesterday! I found this smoked gouda pimento cheese at Whole Foods yesterday and had that for lunch with a few pork rinds instead of what I originally planned, but other than that, right on plan!

B: 1 egg, 2 pieces of bacon

S: 1 slice of ham and a T of that pimento cheese

L: Chicken crack 4 ounces

S: More of the above if I need it

D: Open... but I'll make a good choice!

Picture is of my and the kids last weekend just before their Winter Guard performances! How did they get so grown up, and when did my 'baby' boy get so tall??!!

And because everyone should get to see Cam every once in a while! (And our Foster, Eve, who is a 12yo that the owners surrendered to the shelter! Poor girl is so stressed and still missing her family after 2 weeks of being with us, breaks my heart!)
