Good Morning! I had 2 fantastic interviews yesterday and I got an email from my top choice last night that she is moving on to reference checks today! Yay! Today is also new mattress day! I told Grim that 1 new job + 1 new mattress = 3 tacos for dinner. He seemed skeptical, but I think I'm right :)

The rest of the day is cookie decorating from start to finish. I have so much to do.

QOTD: Do you take Tylenol for pain relief? I don't bother with it unless I'm at my absolute most desperate because I really don't think it does anything to help me.

  • protein coffee
  • a lot more coffee
  • eggs
  • veggie burger

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Exciting news for you on the job front! Hopefully you'll get both offers and they will be very competitive. A QJB bidding war!

Yesterday was gorgeous, I sat out on the deck reading in the sun for a couple of hours until it got too hot. Although I know being 17 degrees above average in January is not ideal, I did enjoy it.

Back to work today and I'm sure it will be a long one! I have one more load of laundry to wash and all of it to fold so that will be my evening activity for sure. I'll get in half an hour on the elliptical this morning and then heads down back into work.

QOTD - rarely, but if I need a couple, I will take them. I never really noticed a difference between Tylenol and Motrin preOp on the few occasions I needed them. Fortunately, I rarely have a need for any pain meds.

menu today is

coffee plus half and half X3

skyr

turkey and cheese on sandwich thin

2 ground beef and cheese tacos in zero carb street taco tortillas

Have a terrific tuesday all

Yep, that was the 17 degrees above average love/hate issue. Still down to normal lows at night so the 35 degree daytime swing is why we are wearing all the clothes every day. Back to normal by the weekend though.

This time of year the average daily high is about 35, but that doesn't last long. The average nightly low is the low 20s.

We were 64° or so yesterday. My mom worked in the yard and I changed into shorts. I didn't do sandals though. Having the wild temp swings here too which I could definitely live without.

I bask in the winter sun, as well. That vitamin D helps my mood with the crisp, frozen air, taking it all in.
