NSVs and pics (prior to surgery and 5 weeks out)

A couple of NSVs:

A checker at the grocery store told me I look like someone who could be famous. LOL I told her I hoped it was for something good!

My 12 year old daughter (who has Down syndrome and is a huge tomboy, not at all concerned with appearances) told me "Mommy, you're pretty. No, no...you're gorgeous!"

My husband told me after, ahem, some pleasantries, that he felt like he was having an affair with someone else because I felt so different to hold. While he's been nothing but supportive, that one definitely made me pause...then laugh!
