Five Awesome months !!!

1/24/2010 surgery weight 266
2/24/2011 month  one        246       20 lb loss
3/24/2011 month two          234       12 lb loss
4/24/2011 month three        224       10 lb loss
5/24/2011 month four          216.5      7.5 lb loss
6/24/2011 month five           207.75    8.75 lb loss

Total pounds lost since surgery 58.25 pounds PLUS the 34 pounds lost in 6 months pre-op diet is...... 92.25 pounds in 10 months !!!!!

I am thrilled with my results of this whole process. All the pre-op testing let me know that for a 50 plus year old woman, my heart, lungs, liver, gallbladder.....all are in working order. I had, and recovered from major surgery. I have happily lost 10 clothing sizes (28 down to a 18) and I feel great. I am off of all narcotic pain medications for my arthritis, and thanks to chosing a sleeve, I can still take my anti inflammatories to keep me comfortable.   I am 'working out' 3 days a week at Curves, have improved my range of motion, and can actually now jog in place a bit.

I can see and smell and taste getting out of the two hundreds.....maybe next month !!!??

That's awesome! Great job! I love to hear success stories like yours. I too have bad arthritis and have felt so much better with my weight loss. Keep up the good work and good luck in getting to one-derland!

I am with you sleeve sister on sharing the sleeve love!!!!!!! Everyday I wake up more excited than the last. No more beta blockers, no more rx nsaids for arthritis of the knees. Just plenty more clothes shopping!! I adore my sleeve and my local thrift stores. And my new favorite activity is swinging...on a swingset you naughty folks. I just hate having to wait for the snotty little kids to get off of the swings!

I am not big boned! Bones don't jiggle!
