I went to the doctor yesterday for a check in and they told me I am doing good but I am on the lower end of the weightloss scale. That really threw me off all day yesterday and today and I got off track because it really mentally screwed me up. I want to get back on track ASAP so I want to get ideas of meals that you all are eating that are aroudn 800 calories and 30 carbs or less and 60 plus protein. I keep eating the same foods over and over and I have not seen the scale really move in 3 weeks. Just calling out for help because I don't want to blow it since I have been doing so well until that stupid doctor appt. Sorry so emotional it is that time of the month and I am really just feeling down. Thanks gang!Gina

I just bought "Now Eat This" by Rocco Dispirito.  It has healthier versions of a lot of favorites and doesn't seem too difficult.  All nutritional info is listed.  Meals are all under 350 calories- I'm going to try out afew this weekend.  One of my current faves is a quesadilla with chicken breast 2 oz lowfat cheddar and mozz total of one ounce and sauteed red peppersin one  'lower fat and carb' tortilla with salsa- no sour cream- Yummy!

Hi Gina,

I am sorry I missed you when you were down here. ughhhhh..I am soooo bummed.
Please when you go to the doctors again lets meet.

Anyhow...  I am wondering who told you your at the lower end of losing?  DOC?  NUT?  WHO?
Did you hear something and your head is running a little?   Ahhh Gina...  everyone loses
weight differently....  unless you are slipping and need help..... try and not worry to much.

Its great that your reaching out for ideas....   What is your typical food day look like?
Are you keeping calorie track or using myfitnesspal.com to track calories?

Maybe for a day get back to basics with the shakes...maybe reset your sleeve for a day or two.
Could this be possible?   then go back to basics with the oz  etc......   could this be possible.???

Honestly I have no clue....  but I want you to feel better....and get through this....
I am here to chat anytime. I am on everynight via meebo   or you can call me anytime...!!!

You are doing great.  Try not to beat yourself up about it.  Everyone loses differently.  Stalls are also normal.  Mine lasted over 10 days and it was just a few weeks out.  Do you exercise?  Maybe you can step up your activity level?  Are you following the nutrition plan that your nut gave you?  I am also eating the same foods over and over.  Are you getting in all of your water? Hang in there hun!

Your numbers look good to me!  I was just about where you are at the same distance out.  My weight loss is slow but steady and I count every bite including the calories in my gummy vitimins and gummy fibers and calcium chews.

Screw the doctor!!!! Try and focus on the bigger picture. There's no way you are eating enough calories to cause your body to stop losing. If it's stalling, it's probably not because of you.

My appointment didn't go very well either, so I'll tell you what my new diet is supposed to look like.

Breakfast - egg, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, or something like that.

Snack (from 8:30-11:30 per the doc) 11 oz protein shake

Lunch: meat of some sort (ive been eating ground beef, chicken, turkey meat balls, some thin moist steak)

Snack (all afternoon) 11oz protein shake (im adding my own solid food snack in there because I get hungry..)

Dinner: meat of some sort

She didnt care about carbs as long as I get 100 g protein in. Obviously with that much protein my carbs are limited.

Are you getting in cardio? I'm suppposed to do 40 minutes per day. Hang in there. The weight is going to come off.

Thanks everyone. Yesterday was just a really bad day for me mentally. I was so proud of how far I have come and for her (the nurse practictioner) to tell me I am doing okay but I am at the lower end of the spectrum really threw me in a foul mood. This morning I woke up and said screw her she will not be the reason I go and fail. I ended up taking my kids to the California Science Center and literally walked the museum from 10am until 5pm with only about 1 hour of the time sitting down. I had a protein drink for breakfast, a piece of chicken..3 oz for lunch, 3 oz of tuna for dinner, a string cheese for snack #1, and am going to have another protein shake later because I really did not get in enough calories today. I am putting away the scale and just going to try and change things up.  Thanks for your love and support.
xoxo
