Surgery Tues. Morn...Some advice please:)

Hi Everyone! I am having my surgery on Tues. morning at 8am. I have to be there at 6. I was just curious if any of you had some tips for me. Such as, what should I bring to the hospital with me? I know the basics, but is there any one thing that you later though.."oh my I couldnt have gone without that!"? lol

Im super excited but of course I have the normal worries. Please everyone keep me in your thoughts and prayers! Good luck to those of you who are also having surgeries soon!!

Hey! Good luck!

I was just sleeved 8/10, packed light and did not regret it. What I brought:

ID
Insurance Card
Slippers (I HATE those stupid slipper socks)
Chapstick
CPAP machine (with my own distilled water)
Fresh Underwear
Pillow (for the trip home)

I didn't bring anything to read/do and don't regret it. I was in the hospital for ~34 hours and all I wanted to do was sleep when I wasn't visiting with folks or drinking/walking.

For me, less was more I had to worry about.

Thank you! I didnt think I would need to carry too too much and I figured Id be sleepy most of the time. Will be taking a note of all the things suggested:)

#3...comfy slippers..that you can walk in
#4...loose fitting clothes...but not too lose they fall down!
#5...something to do..ipad...iphone...ipod....laptop...and no I DON'T work for Apple! lol!

Wow we go in and will start at the same time! I feel like I have forgotten something but everything is ready for Tuesday and when I come home. I wish the best for us both!!
