Coping with the heat help! (VETs)
VSG on 05/22/12
I don't have any problem now - but my first summer the heat did get me. I found that eating some chicken salad sat ok. Also having cold steak sat well (steak always worked better than chicken for me). I'm alergic to seafood - but if you like it, maybe seafood salad would sit well.
Hope you find something that works for you!

You may be in a carb-craving cycle more than anything. I suggest keeping your fluid intake up and limiting the carbs. The first few days will be hard to break the carb cycle, so stay strong.
Stick to cool foods since it's so hot. Cold chicken salad, tuna salad, cheese, etc.

With this crazy heat, you may be getting slightly dehydrated (could explain why you dont feel right). Fruit is good - itll help you get some extra water, and sugar never hurts haha. Make sure you get some fluids and protein, and stay cool!
