I am not losing!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SAD ! DEPRESSED! I do not know what to do. I am 6 months out of surgery and have only lost 45 pounds. I have been at the weight of 268 for about 3 weeks now and I dont know what to do. I am working out and drinking my water. What should I do?

I'm not really keeping a journal... My eating has been horrible with Finals and practice Trials I just haven't been doing right on keeping up with what I eat. (I'm a student) I personally want a simply diet to follow since fall semester is about to start and I will be on a strict schedule.
If you aren't satisfied with your progress, you'll need to decide to take a more active role in your weight loss. It will not just happen
Its very hard to be a student and focus on WL but if there's one thing I've learned, regardless of where you are at in your life, no matter how hard things get, you absolutely have to make your health a priority and eliminate all excuses.
Most succesful people here weigh, measure, and accurately track their input. You may want to consider finding a plan that will work for you and get down to business.

I do workout. If I'm outside I try to walk/run 3-4 miles. If I'm at the gym I'll take a class or do the bike
I was stuck and this is what I did
2 days of protein shakes... as many as I wanted each day.
then 1 day of soft protein only,, canned tuna, chicken, yogurt
then 1 day of regular protein only
Jump started my weight loss and helped me rid myself of carb cravings.
Now I am back on a regular eating plan... 600 to 800 calories... less than 40 carbs and losing steadily. You have to track everything. My fitness pal...
This is one thing you can do if you want to lose weight.
