I think it can be individualized and depending on what your goals are. I'm still in losing mode and keep my calories around 800, carbs 40-60. I also try to keep my fiber around 30 or so (Miralax and Fibersure are my friends)

Today, I've eaten/will eat:
Breakfast: 35g Protein Shake (Pure Protein Vanilla Creme)
Lunch: 3 oz super lean burger patty with salsa on top
Snack: 4 oz Live Active cottage cheese
Dinner: Some sort of meat (2-3 oz) and veggies

I avg about 1 cup of food at a time, or 4oz protein and a few veggies.

Im usually in the range of 1200-1500 calories, sometimes as low as 900, sometimes 2000. Depends on my activity level.

Depends on what food..

Chicken breast- alone, 2.25-2.5oz max.. with veggies (1/4C) maybe 2oz.

Yogurts, cottage cheese.. unlimited almost. I've never reached "full" on these, but I'm not a speed-eater.

Carbs like chips- unlimited.

Salads and veggies- never eaten a lot at a sitting, but they seem to go through me quickly. I also find my stomach empties faster if I combine meat & veggies in a single meal, so I tend to eat them separate.

I'm almost 3 years out.....

I eat the same as about 5 months out........

While in maintenance I have increased calorie content vs. quantity.......

I may eat 2oz. of Chicken.......but the chicken may be breaded and fried (yup....fried chicken)

The key is that most can't do both.....most can't have loaded calorie/fat/carb in larger quantities.

For me..... I like this..... and it has been working......This is the pay-off for having a small sleeve and preserving restriction.

That's my reality....and I'm sticking to it.....Till it doesn't work......

There is no really across the board normal.  I have averaged 1 cup of food for 3 years now (I am 5 years out)
